Clinton vs. Obama

Hillary Clinton has long been respected and dignified in not just the world of politics, but as a genuine person to boot. Yet it is now clear that while out of Bill’s shadow, her dirty mind games come in to full effect. The Clintons are known for the harmful spin they use in politics and Hillary has been no exception. In her intense battle with front-runner Barack Obama, Hillary’s excessive spin has reduced her chances of landing in the white house. The self proclaimed “Fighter” has continuously lost strong endorsements and super-delegates. If crying didn’t work, it appears as if nothing can stop the powerhouse that is Barack Obama. Her only realistic chance of winning the nomination lies in Obama’s ability to not ruin his entire campaign. Obama has experienced his share of speed bumps, including the controversial comments of his former pastor, Reverend Wright. Seemingly unscathed by the actions of his opponents, it appears as if Obama is ready to lead the Democratic party in to the election. Clinton’s latest attack has her playing the race card, as she claims to be more suitable for white voters. In a recent interview, Clinton said “Senator Obama’s support upon hard working white Americans is weakening again”. Unsurprisingly, Clinton has denied the belief that her recent statement implies white superiority in politics. This most recent incident drives home the fact that people do not trust her and she has offered little to change their minds. Even at the risk of another Republican reaching the White House, Hillary Clinton continues to endanger the Democratic Party. The Democratic nomination remains undecided, but Clinton’s harmful tactics have only lessened the chance of a victory in November.
