Apparently, race is the reason New York fans have jeered Willie Randolph for the majority of his tenure as a manager. Wrong again Willie; it’s actually because you are doing a terrible job of leading one of the most talented teams in baseball. Your misuse of the pitching staff, reluctance to give rookies a chance, and lack of motivation have steered this team in to the depths of mediocrity. If Omar Minaya knows what he’s doing, you will soon be replaced by a man with an actual pulse. You are not and will never be Joe Torre, so give it up.
It’s almost impossible to comprehend how much this team as backtracked in the last two years with you at the helm. Jerry Manuel can’t take the fall on this one, you are going to have to man up and inspire these players. No, that doesn’t mean attending the latest Billy Wagner seminar. Whether it is getting fired up over a call or being thrown out of a game, you must break loose of your personality; or lack thereof, and get the Mets back on track.
So the choice is yours Mr. Randolph, the rabid Mets fans will not wait until September for this team to get their act together. If we’re lucky, your firing will come around much sooner than later. Go ahead, keep bringing Aaron Heilman in a tie game with men on base; I’m sure his 6.00 ERA will support it. The guy has given up more home runs that Carlos Beltran has hit; it’s time for him to lose his eighth-inning spot. Also, the fact that you even considered sending down Joe Smith is ludicrous and only further exemplifies your horrid decisions.
In conclusion, you’ve brought about more grey hairs and bald spots than wins throughout your tenure as the Mets manager. From the bottom of our hearts, New York has presented you with a little present to extend our gratitude.

Clinton vs. Obama
Hillary Clinton has long been respected and dignified in not just the world of politics, but as a genuine person to boot. Yet it is now clear that while out of Bill’s shadow, her dirty mind games come in to full effect. The Clintons are known for the harmful spin they use in politics and Hillary has been no exception. In her intense battle with front-runner Barack Obama, Hillary’s excessive spin has reduced her chances of landing in the white house. The self proclaimed “Fighter” has continuously lost strong endorsements and super-delegates. If crying didn’t work, it appears as if nothing can stop the powerhouse that is Barack Obama. Her only realistic chance of winning the nomination lies in Obama’s ability to not ruin his entire campaign. Obama has experienced his share of speed bumps, including the controversial comments of his former pastor, Reverend Wright. Seemingly unscathed by the actions of his opponents, it appears as if Obama is ready to lead the Democratic party in to the election. Clinton’s latest attack has her playing the race card, as she claims to be more suitable for white voters. In a recent interview, Clinton said “Senator Obama’s support upon hard working white Americans is weakening again”. Unsurprisingly, Clinton has denied the belief that her recent statement implies white superiority in politics. This most recent incident drives home the fact that people do not trust her and she has offered little to change their minds. Even at the risk of another Republican reaching the White House, Hillary Clinton continues to endanger the Democratic Party. The Democratic nomination remains undecided, but Clinton’s harmful tactics have only lessened the chance of a victory in November.
